The VFW offers a wide range of assistance programs aimed at helping Veterans of every generation. Whether that means providing free, professional help filing or appealing a VA claim, offering scholarships for post-secondary education or providing financial relief when times get tough, the VFW is there for America's veterans.
As the largest organization of combat veterans, the VFW understands the frustrations that can arise when transitioning out of the military or filing a claim with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The claims process can be confusing and one that service members and veterans shouldn't try to navigate alone. You can learn more about VFW assistance with the VA Claims and separation benefits here.

Hospitalization and Hardness
Life happens and sometimes we face struggles where we need a battle buddy in your corner. If a Veteran or their family is facing a hard time due to illness or other struggles in life all members are encouraged to contact the post Chaplain or Commander.
